
Personal Profile:
Wang Enyuan is a
Level-2 Professor and doctoral supervisor at China University of Mining and Technology. He is a national-level candidate of the New Century National Hundred, Thousand and Ten Thousand Talent Project, a recipient of the Special Government Allowance of the State Council, and an advisor of National Excellent Doctoral Dissertations.
He concurrently serves as Vice Chairman of the National Association of Deans of Safety Science and Engineering in Colleges and Universities, Director of the Chinese Society of Occupational Health, Vice Chairman of the Gas Prevention and Utilization Committee of the Chinese Society of Occupational Health, and an expert of the Rock Burst Prevention Committee of the China Coal Industry Technical Committee.
He has been honored with such titles as the New Century Excellent Talent of the Ministry of Education, Outstanding Talent in Coal Industry Technological Innovation, Top Ten Young Sci-Tech Stars of Jiangsu Province, and Model Pacesetter of Jiangsu New Long March Marcher.
He has
presided over or completed 21 national-level projects, including special instruments and key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, national science and technology key projects, science and technology support programs, special topics of key R&D programs during the 10th–13th Five-Year Plan periods, and the National Key Technologies Extension Program.
He has published more than 200 SCI/EI papers, 10 monographs, and authorized 52 Chinese invention patents and 3 international invention patents. He has supervised over 30 doctoral candidates and more than 100 master’s students.
He has received
1 Second-Class Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, 1 China Patent Excellence Award, and 12 provincial and ministerial Science and Technology Progress Awards.
