01Outstanding Scholars

Position Requirements:

Strategic scientists who are recognized by their international peers and have broad international academic influence. Candidates should age 70 or below, and be able to work full-time at the university.

Remuneration:

1. Position: tenured professor;

2. Remuneration: specific to individuals;

3. Housing arrangement: a 300m2suite, or equivalent monetary allowance is provided;

4. Funding for this position: 20 million RMB;

5. Team building: 3-5 research assistants are provided, guaranteed doctoral student enrollment for each year, assistance in research team formation, free access to all experimental platforms across the university;

6. Benefits to family members: the spouse's job can be arranged by the university and school-age children can attend the university's affiliated schools.


02Leading Scholars

Position Requirements:

Leaders and discipline leaders who have achieved outstanding academic achievements recognized by their peers in their disciplines, have strong organizational and management skills and academic influence, and can lead young scholars to promote the development of related fields and disciplines. Candidates should age 60 or below, and be able to work full-time at the university.

Remuneration:

1. Position: tenured professor;

2. Remuneration:800,000 - 1,000,000RMB;

3. Housing arrangement: a150m2suite, or equivalent monetary allowance is provided;

4. Funding for this position:6 millionRMB;

5. Team building:1-3research assistants are provided, assistance in research team formation, free access to all experimental platforms across the university;

6. Benefits to family members: the spouse's job can be arranged by the university and school-age children can attend the university's affiliated schools.


03Ascending Scholars

Position Requirements:

Have a broad academic vision and creative thoughts, and have achieved outstanding academic results in the key areas of natural science, philosophy and social science, and culture and art; have the ability to assist their own discipline to catch up with the international advanced level, and have the long-term development potential to become an academic leader in their fields. Candidates should age 45 or below, and be able to work full-time at the university.

Remuneration:

1. Remuneration:600,000 - 800,000RMB;

2. Housing arrangement: a90m2suite, or equivalent monetary allowance is provided;

3. Funding for this position:1.5 millionRMB;

4. Team building: assistance in research team formation, free access to all experimental platforms across the university;

5. Benefits to family members: school-age children can attend the university's affiliated schools.


04Distinguished Research Fellows

Position Requirements:

Excellent doctors and young leaders with cultivation potential who have already obtained doctoral degrees from famous universities at home and abroad, or who have been engaged in scientific research for more than 3 years in famous overseas universities, research institutions or famous enterprises, with the ability to meet the conditions sufficient to be specially promoted to professor (or research fellows) position of our university in their discipline, and have been assessed to have development potential. Candidates should age38or below (not beyond 43 for philosophy, social sciences and culture or art majors), and need to work full-time at the university.

Remuneration:

1.Remuneration:400,000RMB;

2.Housing arrangement: an allowance of500,000RMB;

3.Funding for this position:400,000RMB;

4.Team building: assistance in research team formation, free access to all experimental platforms across the university;

5. Benefits to children: school-age children can attend the university's affiliated schools.


05Directly-hired Professors/Research Fellows, Professors/Research Fellows without Tenure

Position Requirements:

Directly-hired professors (research fellows) shall have high academic levels and pass the academic evaluation organized by the university and reach the level of professional and technical level four posts in our university; Professors/research fellows without tenure shall pass the academic evaluation of the grassroots units and be recognized by the university. Candidates for the professors/research fellows without tenure should age40or below (not beyond45for philosophy, social sciences and culture or art majors), and need to work full-time at the university.

Remuneration:

Annual remuneration:300,000 - 350,000RMB; The university provides housing allowance of450,000RMB and research platform construction funding of350,000RMB (200,000RMB for arts and administration disciplines). School-age children can attend the university's affiliated schools.


06Distinguished Associate Research Fellows

Position Requirements:

Young talents who have received excellent education and have met the conditions for special promotion to associate professor (or associate research fellows) in our university in their discipline, and have been identified as having greater development potential. Candidates should age32or below (not beyond 35 for philosophy, social sciences and culture or art majors), and need to work full-time at the university.

Remuneration:

1. Annual remuneration:300,000RMB;

2. Housing arrangement: an allowance of400,000RMB;

3. Funding for this position:300,000RMB;

4. Team building: assistance in research team formation, free access to all experimental platforms across the university;

5. Treatment of children: school-age children can attend the university's affiliated schools.


07Associate Professors without Tenure (Associate Research Fellows without Tenure)

Position Requirements:

Excellent educational background with more outstanding academic achievements, subject to academic evaluation by the primary unit and recognition by the university. Generally, not beyond the age of35, and need to work full-time at the university.

Remuneration:

Annual remuneration:200,000 - 250,000RMB; The university provides housing allowance of350,000RMB and research platform construction funding of200,000RMB (120,000RMB for arts and administration disciplines). School-age children can attend the university's affiliated schools.


08Talent-Postdoctoral Fellow Position

Excellent educational background with remarkable academic achievements, and eligibility for appointment as associate professor level talents by the university.

Annual remuneration: 300,000 RMB.


09Lecturer-levelPostdoctoral Fellows

Position Requirements:

Candidates should age 32 or below with his / her PhD degree obtained in the past three years. Science and engineering talents should have participated in national scientific research projects, and arts and management talents should have participated in scientific research projects at the provincial and ministerial level or above, or received scientific and technological awards at the provincial and ministerial level or above, or have received national invention patents, and should have published papers that have been rated as the three types of high-quality papers.

Remuneration:

These talents will be trained as reserve faculty and can participate directly in the evaluation of associate professor (associate research fellow) positions without occupying the index during their time at the institute, and will be directly recruited to the university with treatment of associate professors after passing the examination, or stay in the university as tenured lecturer after meeting the relevant conditions. The annual remuneration at the Institute is 200,000-230,000 RMB, with the social insurance and public accumulation fund for housing saving paid by the university. Those who are selected for the "New Project" and "Introductory Project" can enjoy both the state funding and the university funding; those who are jointly trained by enterprises can enjoy both the subsidies from enterprises and the funds provided by the university; remuneration during the training period may exceed 1 million RMB. School-age children can attend the university's affiliated schools.


10Lecturers/Research Assistants

(Bring into staff quota after passing the assessment in three years)

Position Requirements:

Hold a doctoral degree and a diploma. Within the past three years, talents in fields of science and technology should have participated in national scientific research projects (for those in the fields of arts and management, they should have participated in scientific research projects at the provincial or ministerial level or above), or received scientific and technological awards at the provincial or ministerial level or received national invention patents, and have published paper evaluated as "three types of high-quality papers" (papers on domestic Sci-Tech journals with international influence, papers on international-top or important Sci-Tech journals recognized by the industry, and papers presented at top academic conferences at home and abroad). Not older than 32 years. Corresponding benefits are provided according to the results of the comprehensive inspection and evaluation.

Remuneration after Introduction:

Annual remuneration150,000 - 200,000RMB, school-age children can attend the university's affiliated schools. In addition, the following benefits are available:

Class A: The university provides housing allowance of100,000RMB (One-time payment), rent subsidy of150,000and research platform construction funding of150,000RMB (90,000RMB for arts and administration disciplines);

Class B: The university provides housing allowance of100,000RMB (One-time payment), rent subsidy of100,000and research platform construction funding of100,000RMB (60,000RMB for arts and administration disciplines);

Class C: The university provides housing allowance of50,000RMB (One-time payment), rent subsidy of50,000and research platform construction funding of60,000RMB (30,000RMB for arts and administration disciplines);


11Foreign teacher

Generally, candidates should hold a doctoral degree from well-known domestic or foreign universities. For special disciplines or scarce talents in school, a master’s degree may be considered.

For appointments to senior positions, the age limit is generally not more than 55 years old, with a high level of academic research ability, mastery of cutting-edge developments in the field, significant academic achievements in a particular research direction, or innovative research. For appointments to associate positions, the age limit is generally not more than 45 years old, with a good understanding of academic trends in their discipline and a stable and mature research direction. For appointments to intermediate positions, candidates should generally be under 40 years old.

Assistant Professor Position: 225,000 RMB per year (pre-tax)

Associate Professor Position: 300,000 RMB per year (pre-tax)

Professor Position: 350,000 RMB per year (pre-tax)
