I am an associate professor at the Department of Land Resource Management, China University of Mining and Technology. I hold a Bachelor in Geographic Information Systems and a Master in Physical Geography from China University of Mining and Technology, and a PhD in Geography from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium. I have worked at the University of Portsmouth (UK) as a visiting researcher and the Vrije Universiteit Brussel as a geographic researcher. I have published over 50 research papers in peer-reviewed journals and delivered oral and poster presentations on my research findings at numerous international and national conferences in Europe, Asia, Australia, and Africa. I am a reviewer board member of /Remote Sensing/ and /Land/, and a special issue editor of /Sustainability/ and /Horticulturae/. In addition, I have also served as a session chair at several international conferences, including the First and Third Workshop of Asian Young Geographers, and the International Workshop of Geography and Sustainability.

I accept Chinese and International students in the Master’s program in Land Resource Management.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

My research focuses on:

· Remote sensing of land resources;

· land-use planning and its environmental impact;
