Zhang Jian, Ph.D., associate professor of China University of Mining and Technology, master supervisor. He graduated from Nanjing Agricultural University with a Ph.D. degree in land resource management, and he is also a Ph.D. in joint training program from Arizona State University. His research interests are related to land economy and policies, rural land property rights and systems, and the economic and social performance of land market. He presided over 8 projects including National Social Science Fund project, National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Project of the National Social Science Fund, the Humanities and Social Science Research Youth Fund of the Ministry of Education, and the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation et al. He has published more than 20 academic papers in domestic and foreign journals such as Food Policy, World Development, Land Use Policy, Canadian Journal of Agricultural Economics, Journal of Public Administration (in Chinese), China Population, Resources and Environment (in Chinese), China Land Science (in Chinese), Resource Science (in Chinese), etc., and published 2 books. He won the 15th Jiangsu Provincial Philosophy and Social Science Outstanding Achievement Award, the Jiangsu Provincial Land Society Science and Technology Award, the Excellent Paper of the 8th Jiangsu Academic Conference of Philosophy and Social Sciences, the President Scholarship and other awards.
