Profile

Wu, Zihao, Doctor of Science, Associate Professor, Master's Supervisor, "Double Creation Doctor" of Jiangsu Province, and Outstanding Young Backbone Teacher of China University of Mining and Technology. He graduated from Wuhan University and joined the School of Public Administration of China University of Mining and Technology in June 2021. He focuses on the resource and environmental monitoring and digital soil mapping, and has published 11 academic papers as the first or corresponding author in journals such as Geoderma, Soil & Tillage Research, Catena, and Science of the Total Environment. He has led a National Natural Science Foundation Youth Project of China and a sub project of the Third Xinjiang Science Examination Project. He has also participated in five other Chinese national research projects. He serves as the youth editorial board member of the Journal of Ecology and Rural Environment, and as a reviewer for several SCI journals such as Science of the Total Environment, Journal of Cleaner Production, and Environmental Earth Sciences.

Research Interests

Resource and environmental monitoring, digital soil mapping, spatial statistical analysis, and application of machine learning algorithms.

Courses taught

Physical geography, Principles and applications of remote sensing, Survey and analysis of national geographic conditions of China,Soil geography, Land reclamation science.
