
Personal Profile:
Niu Shandong, born in October 1991, is a Doctor and Lecturer. She graduated from the School of Public Administration at Northeastern University in June 2024, obtaining a Doctor of Management degree. In July 2024, she joined the Department of Public Administration at China University of Mining and Technology. Her main research interests lie in land policy, cultivated land protection and utilization, spatial governance, and urban-rural green development.
She has published more than 30 papers in SSCI/SCI/EI/CSSCI-indexed journals. Among them, she has published 12 academic papers as the first author in renowned journals such as Land Degradation & Development, Chinese Geographical Science, China Land Science, and Journal of Natural Resources. One of her papers has been fully reprinted by Renmin University of China Reprinted Newspapers and Periodicals. She serves as an anonymous reviewer for journals including Resources Science, Environmental Impact Assessment Review, Geography and Sustainability, Heliyon, Land, and World Development Sustainability. She has presided over 3 scientific research projects and participated in compiling 2 academic works.
Research Directions: Land policy, cultivated land protection and utilization, spatial governance, urban-rural green development.
