Personal Profile:

Zhao Liyu, born in April 1976, is a Professor and Ph.D. supervisor in Management. Holding a Ph.D. in Management and a postdoctoral degree in Management Science and Engineering, he specializes in various research areas, including Public Policy and Public Management, Science and Technology Innovation Policy, Performance Evaluation, and Emergency Management. From February 2015 to February 2016, he conducted a collaborative research visit at Western Michigan University in the United States. Professor Zhao has led two projects funded by the National Social Science Foundation, and has been the principal investigator for over 10 projects at the provincial and ministerial levels, including the Humanities and Social Sciences of the Ministry of Education and the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation Program. He has also participated in more than 10 projects at the departmental and bureau level; he has participated in 4 national projects. He has published more than 50 academic papers and 5 academic monographs in journals and media such as "China Soft Science," " Science Research Management," " Science of Science and Management of S.& T. " "Science & Technology Progress and Policy," and "Science and Technology Daily." Furthermore, Professor Zhao has authored five academic monographs. Recognizing his outstanding achievements, Professor Zhao received the Third Prize for Outstanding Achievements in Humanities and Social Sciences in Colleges and Universities of the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Education (Principal Investigator, Certificate No. XT31) and the Second Prize of the Shaanxi Provincial Science and Technology Award (Second Participant, Certificate No. 2015-2-109-R2). Academic part-time jobs mainly include communication review expert of National Natural Science Foundation of China, dissertation review expert of Ministry of Education, member of Youth Working Committee of China Association for Science and Technology Policy Research, and member of China Association for Science and Technology Policy Research.
