Biography:

Dr. Chen Longgao is a professor and doctoral supervisor. He is also a certified real estate appraiser and land appraiser. He was a visiting scholar at the University of Tennessee, USA.

He has undertaken more than 30 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation, Jiangsu Province Social Science Foundation, Jiangsu Province University Natural Science Foundation, and Jiangsu Province Graduate Education Teaching Reform Project, as well as various commissioned projects from enterprises and institutions. He has published over 70 academic papers in international and domestic journals such as Environmental Impact Assessment Review, Habitat International, and Journal of Applied Basics and Engineering Sciences. He has served as the editor-in-chief or contributor to multiple books and textbooks.

Research Interests: Dr. Chen focuses on interdisciplinary research using remote sensing and GIS spatial information technology. His long-term research work has been dedicated to the field of environmental impact assessment in spatial planning. In recent years, his specific research directions have focused on issues related to land spatial planning and carbon effects, land spatial security and governance, and land ecological utilization.

Courses Teaching: Land/Geographic Information System, Professional Foreign Language, Valuation of Natural Resource Assets, Sustainable Land Use, Land Law.

Seeking: Dr. Chen is interested in recruiting research students who are willing to engage in areas related to land and real estate. Priority will be given to those with spatial information technology application abilities.
